Company extract in Armenia – official record

A company extract from Armenia's corporate register sets out the registered particulars of an entity: its legal name, registration number, legal form, registered address and current status, as recorded by the register. The issuing authority, the official fee and the standard turnaround for Armenia are being confirmed against the primary source before any date is quoted to a client.

What this document shows

A company extract for an entity in Armenia is built from the particulars the register holds at the moment of issue. The chain runs in four steps. First, the register confirms the entity is on file under a specific registration number. Second, it lists the current legal name and legal form. Third, it states the registered address and, where recorded, the status of the entity – active, dissolved or in liquidation. Fourth, it names the current directors or authorised representatives, where the register holds that field.

An Armenia company extract of this kind is typically delivered as a single document rather than a bundle of separate certificates. The particulars usually carried on an extract of this type include the following fields.

Whether each of these fields is populated for a given Armenian entity depends on what was filed and when. An extract does not create a fact; it repeats what the register already holds. Where a field is blank on the register, it stays blank on the extract. Where the register records a share capital figure for this legal form, the extract repeats the amount exactly as filed, without adjustment for later changes not yet entered.

Confirmation of the exact register, the exact authority that issues the extract, and the precise field list carried on an Armenia company document is in progress against the primary source. REGISTRUM states the confirmed field list to the client before the order is placed, not after.

What it does not show

An extract records status, not solvency. It does not show whether the entity holds unpaid tax, is subject to enforcement proceedings, or carries debt beyond what the corporate register itself notes. That information, where it exists at all for Armenia, sits in a separate register – tax, court or insolvency – and is not part of the corporate record.

Beneficial ownership is a second gap. Company extracts of this kind name directors and, in some jurisdictions, shareholders of record. They do not routinely disclose the natural person who ultimately controls the entity, unless that person is also the registered shareholder. Where Armenia keeps a separate beneficial ownership register, and how a foreign applicant reaches it, is being confirmed against the primary source.

A third gap is litigation and licensing history. An extract does not list pending claims, prior sanctions against officers, or sector licences held by the entity. Each of those sits with a different body – courts, a licensing authority, or a professional register – and none of them is reached through a company extract.

Whether the corporate register in Armenia is open to a search by name, restricted to a registration number, or closed to a foreign applicant without a local step, is being confirmed against the primary source. REGISTRUM states this before an order is accepted, not after. A director named on the extract is not thereby confirmed as authorised to sign for the entity in a given transaction; that authority is checked separately, where it is checked at all.

How it is obtained

The route to a company extract in Armenia runs in a short chain, and each link is checked before it is quoted to a client. First, the issuing authority for Armenia's corporate register is being confirmed against the primary source; REGISTRUM does not name an authority it has not checked. Second, the official fee charged for the document is being confirmed in the same way – no fee is quoted from memory. Third, the normal turnaround for a request of this kind depends on the confirmed process, and is stated once that process has been checked.

Language of issue follows the same rule. Where Armenia issues the extract in Armenian only, REGISTRUM confirms whether an English rendering is available from the register itself, or whether a certified translation has to be ordered as a separate step. This is confirmed before the order, not assumed.

Access for a foreign applicant is the fourth link in the chain. Some registers accept a request from outside the jurisdiction directly; others require a local representative, a national identifier, or an electronic signature the applicant does not hold. Whether Armenia's register falls into either category is being confirmed against the primary source, and REGISTRUM states the answer before payment.

Where a client needs a certified Armenia extract for a filing abroad, the certification step is added before dispatch and confirmed as a separate line, not folded into the base fee. Reuse of the extract follows a per-document basis: each copy is issued for the specific use stated at the time of order, and a further use of the same record calls for a fresh copy rather than a re-issue of the first. Each of these links is confirmed in the order given, not assumed from experience with a neighbouring jurisdiction.

Price and timeline

Price on request. The fee is confirmed once the issuing authority and tariff for Armenia have been checked against the primary source, and quoted before any payment. Apostille, certified translation, courier delivery and rush processing are available as add-ons, each priced once selected. If the document does not exist in this jurisdiction or cannot be obtained for you, we say so before you pay and we do not take the order.

How long does a company extract / registered particulars from Armenia take?

The confirmed processing time for Armenia is being checked against the primary source. REGISTRUM does not quote a turnaround before that check is complete, because a figure taken from memory can be wrong in either direction. Once the issuing authority and its normal handling time are confirmed, the timeline is stated to the client together with the fee, before any order is placed.

Will a Armenia document be accepted abroad without an apostille?

Acceptance abroad is decided by the receiving authority in the destination country, not by REGISTRUM. What REGISTRUM confirms is whether an Armenia document can carry an apostille or another form of legalisation, and orders that step where it applies. Whether a specific foreign office will accept the resulting document sits outside what any registry-document provider can state in advance.

What does a company extract / registered particulars in Armenia not show?

It does not show tax debts, court proceedings, licences, or the identity of a person who controls the entity without being its registered shareholder. Each of those sits on a separate register – tax, court, licensing or beneficial ownership – and reaching it, where it exists in Armenia at all, is confirmed against the primary source before it is quoted as available.

Does REGISTRUM need a power of attorney to order a company extract for Armenia?

Most registers accept a request from any applicant without a power of attorney, because the extract is a public record rather than a certified copy released only to the entity itself. Whether Armenia's register imposes a different rule for a foreign requester is confirmed before the order, and stated plainly if a power of attorney or another authorisation turns out to be required.

Can REGISTRUM confirm an Armenian entity exists before I pay for the extract?

A preliminary check against the register is carried out before the order is confirmed, so a client is not charged for a search that returns nothing. Where the entity cannot be located under the name or number supplied, REGISTRUM says so and does not take the order, in line with the empty-order rule stated on this page.

State the entity, the jurisdiction and the date you need it by; we confirm availability and the fee before you pay.
